Message from the founders

We hope you enjoy Tick-it. We all find ourselves juggling projects, teams, family and a host of other groups. So, we wanted to find a way to manage all those groups, but keep our interactions with them secure and private. Balaya's been classified as a social media company, but we see ourselves more as pioneers of what we call the "Inner-Net" – the space between those we care about most. Our vision is to bring a broad set of capabilities to your groups, in one spot, and in a private, secure environment. This way each of your groups has what it needs to thrive, and you can seamlessly transition between them – all right from you desktop and mobile devices. Balaya is less about how many people you know and more about what you do with the people you care about most.

Why the name Balaya?

It comes from that savory dish known as jambalaya. You know the one, that rich and satisfying stew combining unique and fabulous ingredients. Each is great by itself, but together they are spectacular. Who is in your Balaya?

Balaya announced the latest version of its flagship product Tick-it® is available for download. Tick-it is a personalized communications hub that organizes web content and group conversations into private, secure information channels that users can select and manage on their computer desktops and web-enabled mobile devices. The latest version includes a local business search widget powered by Yellow Marketing, a product of Travel TV Network, LLC, which enables users to conduct web searches of local business listings anywhere in the US directly from the desktop.
